""Did you ever appreciate something or someone SO MUCH that you could barely find the words to thank them? That’s how I feel about Pedro and what a GREAT DayTrip I had! I am chagrined to say that I have been wanting to write a glowing review for him for many, many months. I keep feeling like I didn’t have the right (or enough) words to offer gratitude for the countless ways Pedro made my trip to Portugal so special. I had never heard of Day Trip. I happened across the website while searching and searching alternative to air travel from Seville to Lisbon. I decided to give it a try and booked a trip. Here’s the thing: I thought that I was simply booking transportation. I thought I was going to sit in the backseat of someone’s car and quietly look out the window while they drove me straight from one city to another, with a polite goodbye at the end. I had no idea that what I was booking was a huge GIFT to myself of not only being transported to Lisbon, but also having a driver who was a WEALTH of knowledge and stories and humor and joy about Portugal. Our drive from Seville to Lisbon with a stop in Merida was SO MUCH FUN! Pedro is like a walking encyclopedia about Portuguese history and wines and people! He knows so much and shares it freely. Plus, he has a great sense of humor and so that added to the delight of the trip. I can’t believe what an amazing time I had. This was one of the best decisions I made about my European trip!
