"Franc was excellent! He arrived early/on time and it made a big difference that he had a comfortable SUV. While we all fit comfortably in the sedan on the ride to puerto viejo, for an almost 4.5 hour drive and on very windy roads it was much more comfortable to be in an SUV. Franc was very friendly and a great driver. The only difficulty was we significant traffic and our trip ended up taking 7.5 hours. We had over 3 hours of being on the one lane rainforest road in stopped traffic with no cell service or understanding on what was happening. Franc found a way to get through to his family to see what was happening which we appreciated. He had the AC running the whole time whereas most people turn their cars off. He also had cold waters available and didn’t mind when we started eating snacks in the car because our 5 year old daughter hadn’t had any lunch. He made what could have been a very stressful situation a very calm one. Being comfortable in the SUV also made a big difference in such an unexpectedly long trip. All that to say, we absolutely recommend Franc! And SUVs for any drive over 4 hours."

"Hello there. My brother and I took two trips through Daytrip, one from Turrialba to Puerto Viejo with Jonathan on Dec. 16th and one from Puerto Viejo to San Juan with Juan. Both of our trips were great. Jonathan really went above and beyond to make us comfortable and taught us so much about Costa Rica. We were amazed at how knowledgeable he was. Juan was also really friendly and very accommodating. Both of them showed us great places to eat pointed out interesting facts about the places we were traveling through. Communication was fantastic and they got us to our destinations right on time. We had great experiences with both drivers and I would definitely recommend your service to anyone traveling in Costa Rica. One suggestion I might have, really more of an idea, would be to maybe have a ride sharing option for the larger shuttle vans. We certainly enjoyed not having to share the rides with others but if there were a couple people traveling the same route on the 16th it would be a nice option to have just to cut down on the cost. Thanks for everything!"
