Those who want to get to Venice from Vernazza as early as possible often book a night train, but this option often also involves taking a bus part of the way. It is less expensive than a traditional train, but the trip length is longer, about nine hours one way.
The day trains are usually between $59 and $237 one way, and the night trains are $41 to $70. Regardless of whether you take a day or night train, you'll encounter two to three transfers, with the first part of your trip undertaken with Trenitalia and the rest of the journey with ItaloTreno. You also have the option of taking a train and then a flight from Florence or Genoa to Venice, but this is at least 7 hours.
### From Vernazza to Venice by private car transfer service

When is the best time to visit Venice?
When traveling from Vernazza to Venice, it's natural to want to learn when the best time to visit is. For those who want to avoid paying the entry fee, the best time to visit is from October through late February, when there are fewer tourists and cheaper pricing across the board.
However, if you want to enjoy warm weather, visiting Venice from late spring to early summer is best. The crowds might be larger and the prices higher, but it's nowhere close to the summer masses.

Since Venice is car-free, you'll need to navigate to these departure and arrival points unless you take a water taxi, which can take you into the city.
After you've traveled from Vernazza to Venice and seen everything you want to see in the floating city, there are several destinations nearby that are worth visiting. For example, you can take trips to Moderna, Bologna, Chioggia, Piacenza, and Parma.
