As such, the roads and buses can be extremely crowded. Travel during the weekdays if possible, as even locals flock here on the weekends. Also, avoid rush hours from 6:30–10 a.m., 12:30–1:30 p.m., and 4:00–8:30 p.m. Otherwise, you could drastically increase the time of the journey.
### Plan your stops
If you are getting from Positano to Sorrento by car, it means you are traveling along Amalfi Drive.
