Immerse yourself in rich history, stunning scenery, and unforgettable architecture in Segovia.
Spend some time exploring Segovia’s remarkable architecture and learning more about the city’s history. Marvel at the city’s UNESCO-recognized Roman aqueduct, one of the best-preserved of its kind globally. Then, tour the city’s fairy-tale castle, said to be the inspiration for Disney’s Cinderella castle, or simply enjoy the breathtaking views from its hilltop vantage. Visitors adore this city for its charm and walkability, as its compact size makes it easy to explore all of the historic sites on foot in a single day. Additionally, it's a great place to try traditional dishes such as roast suckling pig (cochinillo).

Spend a day enjoying Avila’s medieval city walls, the Cathedral, and museums.
Your time in Avila allows you to walk along parts of the city’s impressive medieval wall, explore its stone fortifications, and pass through nine preserved gates. There are 88 semi-circular towers in the complex, forming a striking backdrop. Travelers can also visit the Avila Cathedral, built directly into the city walls, for a unique blend of fortress aesthetics and religious significance. Or, head to the Basilica de San Vicente, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring exceptional Romanesque and Gothic architecture. It is also worth visiting the Museum of Avila, located in a 16th-century palace, to learn more about the area’s history and culture.
