"Our Brittany Ferry from St Malo to Portsmouth scheduled for Thursday morning was cancelled on Tuesday morning due to a port strike. We discovered that we could take a Brittany Ferry from Caen on the afternoon of our scheduled date, but how to get from St Malo to Caen- a 2 hour drive? With very little time to spare, we began frantically researching car services. Based on the great reviews, we chose Daytrip. We are so happy we did. Even though we gave them less than 24 hours notice, they were able to find us a driver within an hour of our request. Joan was an excellent driver, was kind and courteous, helped us with our bags, and drove us straight from our vacation rental apartment in the old town of St. Malo to the ferry terminal in Caen. It is always nerve wracking to try out a new car service when you have to make your next connection, but as other reviewers have said, Daytrip was a lifesaver!! Highly recommend. We will definitely use them again."
