"We had a wonderful experience with Guido D. driving us from Palermo to Taormina. He went out of his way on a day that had a few challenges – poor weather, venues not open due to it being Monday and our expectation that it was worth stopping in Messina. He was an engaging guide and obviously very proud of his country – we felt he drove well despite the poor weather and some interesting driving by others, he was determined to find us a castle, so we were not too disappointed by those we weren’t able to visit, which he did and more – a Norman castle, a beautiful church and the Cyclops rocks. He was also so helpful in locating exactly where our apartment was when arriving in Taormina and ensuring he dropped us as close as possible."
