"We are an Australian couple in our seventies who travel overseas every year. We had booked a trip from Nice to Arles via Daytrip online from Tasmania , not really sure what to expect. As it happened, we had no cause to worry.. Our chauffeur Frederique was charming, went out of her way to make us comfortable and was right on time to pick us up from our hotel in Nice. The car was spotlessly clean and roomy. We had two stops on the way- the first at Aix-en-Provence, where we had lunch sitting in the sun, and the second at Chateau Barben, a most impressive castle, part of which dates from the 11th century, set in a beautifully landscaped garden. We paid an entry fee to inspect the interior of the castle and were shown around by a guide dressed in the fashion of Louis XIV. The tour of the castle was only in French but English speakers were provided with a written commentary. Both stops were well worth the extra expense. The convenience of having somebody pick us up at our hotel in Nice and drop us off at our accommodation in Arles was invaluable. The thought of the alternative, which was to take two trains with large suitcases in tow, was rather too daunting!, Many thanks to Daytrip for an unforgettable experience!"
