"We had a really great trip with Vaid. He was incredibly kind. He picked up our passports for us in Tirana and brought them to us when we had stupidly left them in our hotel there. He didn't ask for any extra money for this.Vaid arrived early, spoke excellent English and drove us safely and in good time from Dhermi to Tirana via Durres. He shared fantastic insights into life in Albania both now and in the past. His stories of life as a child under the communist regime were fascinating. In Durres he recommended the most amazing pasta cafe which we would never have found ourselves and then he treated us to ice cream at a place he said did the best ice cream in Albania. He gave us a good overview of the history of the town too showing us the key sights. He then dropped us in plenty of time at the airport ready to fly home. A great last day to our holiday which would otherwise just have felt like a 'lost' travel day. Our three trips with Daytrip were great and I have been recommending you widely. There's nothing I would suggest to improve other than maybe having an app. The only other thing that occurred to me was that there is probably a market for women drivers as I reckon there are quite a lot of single women travellers who might prefer a woman driver.
