"With regard to our second trip with Stanislav…that was even better than our first trip! Stan amazed us by picking us right outside our door (we thought the little street we were on was going to present a challenge because it appeared to be pedestrian-only)…and, he was immediately so warm & friendly, as if we had been friends from the start. He shared a lot of his insights & experiences along the way, and was extremely knowledgeable about all things Czech/Slovak and this was very interesting for us all to hear about. Our two stops (customized, as a I recall) were successful…Cesky Krumlov, in hindsight we wish we had carved out more time (or not spent as much of the time eating lunch) because it was simply gorgeous…Ceske Budejovice/Budvar was fun, too. After the Budvar tour, Stan surprised us with some homemade apple strudel (delicious)…and, upon arrival into Prague he gave me a surprise ‘gift’ of some local beers (since he knew I was interested in beer based on the brewery tour)."
