As you head south from Strasbourg, you’ll travel through the valley created by the Vosges mountain range in the west and the Black Forest mountains to the east. In summer, Zurich’s temperatures average around 65°F (19°C), with highs reaching approximately 75°F (25°C), making for pleasant weather even during the warmest months. If you'd like Zurich at its most peaceful, come in the spring or fall, in between the summer tourist season and ski season.
