He took care of our every need including a stop at a wonderful local Michelin Star restaurant on the way along with other modifications to our agenda that made the experience superior. Andre also was able to book a restaurant in Porto that was unavailable to us and our hotel and assisted in ideas for our visit in Porto and beyond. Luis was extremely kind and knowledgeable about the sites and wanted to make sure that we had a great trip. He explained different sites and we were able to explore to our hearts content. "The trip was beyond expectations. The driver, Carlos Costa, a true gentleman, very knowledgeable about all the attractions along the way. In fact, Carlos suggested one stop that we did not consider before, and that became a highlight of the trip. And when we told him that we would like to stop for lunch in Braga, he knew where to take us. That turned out to be another very memorable place, with excellent seafood. (Even Cristiano Ronaldo has been there :-)) The owner actually knew Carlos, even though Carlos lives in Lisbon. "He also was exceptional. Very down to earth, engaging, kind, informative. Personally escorted us through most of our stops and gave us history of the places, helped us find the best restaurants for our food preferences, etc.
This has nothing to do with Jorge, but the amount of time spent in Braga town itself was more than needed, and we would have preferred to have had more time at the palace on the hill outside Braga and church with all the stairs there. Also would have liked way more time at Valenca, but again, that was not Jorge's fault, it was mine not realizing that there was a time zone change of one hour and so we lost an hour trying to get to the Vigo airport on time.
I would highly recommend Jorge and personally request him for future trips to Portugal or Spain.
