Our trip from Split to Dubrovnik with stops in Ston and Arboretum Trsteno with Roko was simply a fantastic experience. A day before the trip I had corresponded with him to see if we could take the coastal road versus the highway. Knowing it was longer time wise, we were willing to shave some time off our stop in Ston and Arboretum Trsteno. Roko advised that due to normal construction in this area in September that this would not be possible in a portion of the trip. Communication with him was clear and timely.
Roko arrived at the predetermined pick up on time. Right off the start he was polite and energetic. Roko advised that he had left Dubrovnik early in the morning to check out the coastal route for construction. Much to our delight he advised that we would be taking the coastal route as there was no construction. The trip down the coast was great and we thank Roko for making the change. Roko was a very professional driver and was very knowledgeable about the area and his country. He was more than a driver, he was like a tour guy. Our stop in Ston and Arboretum Trsteno were great.
Roko was a very personal young man who cared for his clients. He went above and beyond in looking after us. Please pass on our appreciation to him. With drivers like Roko, your company is in good hands and when we travel again we will be looking at "My Day Trip" to see if they service the area we are going to."
"I am writing to tell you how well my recent Daytrip went from Split to Dubrovnik. Because our hotel was in a âpedestrian only zoneâ, our driver, Samir, picked us up promptly at our hotel door and helped with our luggage to the car parked 5 minutes away. The van was just as I ordered, plenty of room for luggage, clean and comfortable
Samir was very personable, spoke excellent English, and knowledgeable of the areas along the way and sights that we had chosen to visit. He told us to take all the time we wanted, or if we needed to make additional stops, he was fine with whatever we wanted to do.
We appreciated the fact that Samir wasnât overly chatty. He gave information or answered questions, but also allowed us to relax and enjoy the passing countryside. He is an excellent driver so that was also appreciated. We arriving in Dubrovnik on schedule.
We enjoyed the two additional stops, Klis Fortress and Ston, and thought that the descriptions on your website were well presented. They were exactly as expected.
