Overview: Car trip from Munich to Vilshofen
When you arrive in the capital of Bavaria and hit the road to the lesser known but just as captivating area of the region, a route marked with castles and little German towns will stretch in front of you. Getting from Munich to Vilshofen is stepping into the captivating and calm nature of the Passau district.
<show-more> The first thing youâll see after one look on the map showing how the route goes is that youâll be passing through the heart of Bavaria towards the east of Germany. Leaving Munich behind will summarize the city to you through the views on your window; modern buildings and Bavarian architecture, wide cobblestone streets packed with people, and bright green parks.
Then, youâll transition to the rural side of Bavaria, and itâll be a feast of far-reaching fields and meadows dotted with small forests. You need to stop by at least one of the villages, like Straubing, for a Sauerkraut with, of course, beer and an Apfelstrudel that follows.
Then, for the rest of your trip until Vilshofen, youâll be accompanied by fields of golden wheat, green corn, or blooming sunflowers, depending on the season. </show-more>

Fantastisk chaufför i Egypten
âOur experience with Day Trip was Excellent! We needed transportation > from our River Cruise port to the airport hotel. There was an option > for a train, but this was simple and easy with no worries on our end. > Kai was EXCELLENT!. A great driver, kind and informative. Very thankful > we had him as our driver. Trustworthy and honest.â
Great communication and service
âVilshoven to Munich Airport We were coming off Ama Magna a day early and the ship was 2 hrs late to dock . I was worried the driver would leave and contacted the email sent to me. They said just pay the driver an extra 20Euro for his wait time. The car was clean and large enough for our luggage. I will use them again as we plan to go back to Spain and france in April 2022. The price was better than anything out there and service was great.â
âWe booked a car from Munich to Vilshofen to meet for a Crystal River Cruise. We made a stop for 90 minutes to see Dachau Memorial. It was such a stress free trip because we did not have to worry about all our luggage. Our driver was so accommodating as we messed up our pickup location. We texted and he kindly picked up up at the new location.â
