Al Hayl Castle
This traditional fort might be small, but it offers some big views.

Al Hayl Castle was built around 1830 by the ruling family of Fujairah to keep watch over the area. The mud-brick and plaster offers a good example of traditional architecture, and while thereâs not much inside the fort, its hilltop position does provide some fantastic panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and palm-filled valley.
