"Our trip went even better than I could have expected! Our flight arrived very early like 5:07 pm and our driver Santiago was scheduled to arrive at 5:50. I checked the map while waiting to get off the plane and saw our driver was nearby already so I called daytrip to see if he could head our way since we arrived so early. When we got off out of the airport it wasnât but a few minutes before he walked up and greeted us. He was dressed nicely and looked professional so a lot of worries instantly disappeared. He took us to his car which was very clean and had more room than we expected. We had about a 2 hour ride to Palenque and were very surprised he spoke pretty good English. He had a great energy, played good music in the car, and told us all about Palenque and some of the good restaurants and fun things to do nearby. The restaurant he recommended was our favorite food from the whole trip and the waterfall he said was his favorite was incredible. We felt safe the entire trip and really loved talking to Santiago about the town, his family, and all sorts of other things about Mexico and Palenque. It was dark by the time we arrived so I was very thankful to have him with us for this trip. His energy instantly made the trip feel like vacation and set the tone for the rest of our experience there. I donât know when we will go back to Palenque but I wish he could be our driver for wherever we go next. I really donât think we could have had a better experience with anyone else. We are thankful for our experience arriving to town as that was our biggest worry about the trip and I would now use again and recommend Daytrip to anyone needing a great taxi service. Canât wait for the next vacation!"
