"My sister and I take a vacation together every year. We have been to Europe many times. Our trip to Ireland was one of our best trips and our Daytrip driver, John, was
one of the reasons our trip was so great.
When we were planning our trip we looked at organized tours of Ireland but we really don't like to travel that way. We looked into travelling independently using trains and buses but you miss so much when you can't stop along the way. Many friends recommended driving but that just seemed stressful. When I came across Daytrip it seemed like the right fit for us.
I appreciated right from the start how easy it was to communicate with Daytrip. Midway through our trip we realized that I had gotten dates mixed up and we needed to have a driver for the next part of our trip the following day. I called Daytrip and they were able to arrange for our driver to adjust his schedule and our trip was not interrupted. The mistake was all mine and Daytrip could have easily just said they couldn't help us. Instead they fixed my mistake and acted like it was no problem at all.
Daytrip sounded like a good idea, but without fabulous drivers, the idea would go nowhere. Our driver, John, was fabulous. He communicated frequently and offered suggestions that improved our trip. For example, our first drive was from Dublin to Dingle and we wanted to stop at the Rock of Cashel on the way. John suggested that we leave earlier than scheduled to enable us to get there before the crowds. It worked out perfectly. As we were leaving the area lots of buses were just arriving. Really, I could go on and on with many examples of how John improved our vacation. He is very knowledgeable and he was able to answer questions throughout our trips with him. He also suggested stops along our way that were places we didn't know about but we are so thankful that John shared these hidden gems with us. We did three Daytrip trips in Ireland and each time we were thankful that John was our driver. "
"Both of the drivers were perfect! The young man from Dublin to Dingle was very personable. He went out of his way to make our journey fun and comfortable. His car was very nice and clean. I had broke my reading glasses and he stopped and got me a tube of super glue."

He chatted with us and we learned so much more about Ireland and India than we would have learned anywhere else. "The driver was excellent! He opened the doors, helped with all the bags and pet.
He was very respectful and polite. We stopped to use bathrooms and get food along the way before we headed back on the journey across Ireland.
It was a longer drive than I thought due to weather but he is a great driver and there were no issues. So A+++ for the driver and I hope his new born baby is finally here (he mentioned his wife was having one very very soon)!
He even waited and made sure I didnât get lost in the food area.
He also made my pet feel comfortable.
He also let me choose music and change heat/air settings.
I felt safe having him as my driver since I am a solo female traveler. Since my air bnb host was late, and it was dark in a small town, he offered for both of us to wait until the host arrived so we didnât have to wait in the rain and wind, and he also helped with finding the lockbox so I could get the key!
Honestly, Iâve had drivers before with different companies and he was probably one of the best ones Iâve had traveling the world so I am happy it went over well on such a long car ride to the other side of Ireland!
It was too bad the weather was bad half way through and we hit some traffic and then the rain in the mountains around Dingle slowed us down but thatâs to be a given here I have seen all week. The weather is TERRIBLE here! Lol."
