"I would like to be specific about the two main elements of the trip.
Car - it was clean, comfortable and large enough for our needs.
Driver - Manuel M. was courteous, helpful and pleasant.
He was on time, drove carefully and appeared to be very familiar with the road, its traffic and the other crazy drivers. I felt safe throughout the ride.
Manuel offered information about the trip, made relevant comments about the places as we went by and answered our questions to the best of his knowledge, but he was generally quiet as opposed to chatty.
So, overall the ride from Santa Marta to Cartagena, although long, was very pleasant.
I would not hesitate recommending this driver to anyone asking.

"Our trip was fantastic. Felipe was such a wonderful person and driver. He was really professional, communication was great, and he gave us lots of tips. His car was also super comfortable.
My partner had food poisoning and so we had delayed our trip to Cartagena and stayed in a hotel in Santa Marta while he recovered. We were keen to get to Cartagena as soon as possible to resume our plans, but this meant waiting to see how he was feeling each morning and then making a last minute call.
We decided that our original plan of taking a bus would mean staying in Santa Marta even longer until we were 100% sure that he had fully recovered and was up for the long journey, and so we decided that taking a private transfer would allow us to get there sooner and be a comfortable solution. In the morning we travelled, he was feeling much better and we made a last minute call, Daytrip managed to find us a driver very quickly and we were soon on our way in Felipe's comfortable car.
He was sympathetic to our situation and this made Sam feel very comfy, we knew we could stop for breaks or the restroom anytime. Felipe was really knowledgable of the roads, and gave us lots of tips. We are very grateful to him for looking after us. A great service for anyone who needs a private transfer for whatever reason."
