"Martin was wonderful! He arrived early and messaged me to let me know he was there and provided a photo so Iโd know what to look for.
He is super knowledgeable about Panama and it was a pleasure learning from him as we drove to the preselected venues. Sadly, one venue that Iโd chosen (the first stop/zoo) was closed when we got there. Martin went & checked with the guards and found out that they had just changed operational days to be closed on Mondays. Martin gave a couple other suggestions on things we could do and before we knew it, we were on the road again. His quick thinking and knowledge of the area was so very appreciated. We enjoyed a trip to monkey island that fit into the same time frame that we would have spent at the zoo.
Martin also checked with the Miraflores locks as to when there would be a ship in the locks and suggested that we do the IMAX first so that we could then see a ship in the locks.
Before he brought us to the airport he gave us a heads up that there wasnโt much for food available at the airport (he was right) so if we wanted to stop for food, he would have done that too. We decided not to stop for food and wish that we had listened to him!
I would absolutely recommend Martin as a driver/guide again and plan on using Daytrip as a platform again. "
