We booked a driver through DayTrip to take us from Cancun to Merida in Mexico, which is approximately a 4.5 hour journey by car.
Our driver Oscar had been in regular contact a few days beforehand to confirm times, and when our connecting flight in Dallas was delayed and then cancelled, he immediately phoned to check we were okay, and then penciled in a provisional time for our rescheduled day.
Until then he was in regular contact to see how we were doing and if we needed anything.
When we eventually met Oscar in Cancun we found him personable, polite and engaging, with a huge wealth of knowledge and detailed information regarding the present day culture and history of the towns and villages we drove through on the way to our destination. It was a very long drive, and Oscar was fantastic and engaging the whole time.
We will absolutely request Oscar again if we have the opportunity to return, and wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone else requiring a driver in Mexico."
