"Nikica drove us from Budva to Tirana and provided amazing service. We got a large & clean Mercedes van as expected, but Nikica really made the trip. Firstly he arrived with some cold waters and snacks, which was greatly appreciated for our upcoming ~4 hour journey. We took a short break during the trip before the border without any issues and he was most welcoming of our small dog. If everyone in Montenegro provided the same level of service as Nikica did, then it would be hard to complain about anything :)"

"Our trip with Adrian from Budva exceeded our expectations just like our other Daytrip experiences in the last few weeks have.
We were uncertain what to expect this time as the route is one that seems less travelled but it is getting more attractive to tourists like ourselves.
To give you perspective we have travelled in nearly 70 countries in the last 10 years so we have some experience.
Back to Adrian. The use of WhatsAp to communicate before pick up time, we think, is essential as we were not using roaming.
It was a pleasure to have him as a driver and guide. Adrian is a professional with experience in the tourism and hospitality industry. From the moment we first met, his standard of dress showed what he was made of. Adrian was splendid in a coat and a shirt and tie. We did not expect it and do not expect it from our drivers but it was a first impression that will stay with us this time. Adrian's car was immaculate, roomy and very suitable for the trip ahead.
The "international highway" connecting Montenegro and Albania is a challenge. It's narrow and often little more than a single lane. It is also busy with errant drivers driving dangerously and too fast for the conditions. The road is shared with farm tractors and even grazing cows.
Adrian handled the conditions as a professional and Frances and I felt safe at all times. He is a competent driver.
We had choosen to have stops at Fortress Old Bar and later at Kruja Castle. These were good choices as they were interesting and well worth the time. They also provided a welcome break in a long day. Adrian was encouraging of the breaks even though it made it a much longer day for him. He also provided a good commentary on the history and significance of these and other sites that we passed during the day.
He delivered us safely and without drama to our accommodation in Tiriana.
It was a long day but arguably the most enjoyable out of the 6 Daytrips we have had so far. It was thanks to Adrian and the support that Daytrip provided.
