Can I customize the pickup and drop-off times?

Yes! You’re free to choose the pickup and drop-off times that work best for you. However, the time spent at the destination is fixed and cannot be changed.

The price of a day trip does not include any entrance tickets, guided tours, or meals you may partake in at your destination. The price covers round-trip transportation in a luxury vehicle with a professional driver who can provide local insights en route.

How long will I have to explore?

Each sightseeing stop has a recommended duration that includes plenty of time to explore. However, it is possible to customize the time spent at each sightseeing stop at a later stage in the booking process to best fit your unique schedule.

If my plans change, is the booking flexible?

Day trip bookings can be canceled up to 24 hours before your trip for a full refund, no strings attached. While the destination and stops are predetermined, it is possible to change your pick-up point, whether it is at your hotel or some other location within the city.

Can I take a large group?

From solo travelers to large families with children and even corporate groups, we are ready to create a bespoke itinerary that accommodates parties of all sizes. Known as the ‘Pearl of Silesia’, this large thirteenth-century castle is the rumored site for hidden Nazi treasure confiscated during the Second World War. Although its colorful history of owners includes a future president of the United States and Czar Nicolas I, it was really after the war that rumor and mystery began to circulate about the castle. Some say that the sealed rooms in the basement were used to prepare the castle as Hitler’s future headquarters while others claim they conceal a secret laboratory for testing rockets. Deep below the lavishly decorated parlors and rooms and the beautifully terraced castle gardens lie a vast tunnel complex where it is rumored that a train packed with gold and valuables plundered by the Nazis awaits discovery. Even as recently as 2015, treasure hunters flocked to the area after it was revealed that this fabled ‘Nazi Gold Train’ had indeed been located near or under the castle.

Holy Trinity Church of Peace in Swidnica

The Holy Trinity Church of Peace in Świdnica was built in just 10 months, from 1656 to 1657, as part of a reconciliation agreement in the Treaty of Westphalia following the Thirty Years' War. The treaty stipulated that Protestant churches could only be built from wood, be situated outside the town walls, and had to be finished within one year. These conditions were meant to make construction difficult and limit the life of any completed Protestant churches. Still, three so-called "Churches of Peace" were built, and two survive today (the other is in Jawor), both of which remain in use. The church in Swidnica is the largest wooden Baroque temple in Europe, and its interior is richly decorated. Step inside to admire numerous paintings and frescos, wooden galleries, carvings, and historic pews. Both the Holy Trinity Church of Peace in Świdnica and its sister church in Jawor are recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites as monuments to religious tolerance, unmatched in their architectural and artistic execution.
