"We used Daytrip for the first time for this drive. Now we are so happy we booked our other inter- city trips through Daytrip. The app is easy to use and we can’t think of any changes that are needed. The drivers we have had so far have spoken fluent English and have gone out of their way to help us and make our experience enjoyable. Our driver from Split to Mostar was Jakob K. (We called him Jake.) He made our trip a blast! He was relaxed and informative, and his sense of humor made the trip fun. You can tell he really loves Croatia and has a deep connection with its rich culture and its people. His cultural context and insight was very helpful to us then, as well as later throughout our trip. We had a history major college student with us who has a special interest in the Balkans so there was lively and interesting dialogue to entertain us during the ride. Jake made excellent suggestions for places to eat and visit. He made our border crossing easy and stress-free. And when we arrived at our hotel in Mostar, the entrance was a little hard to find and had several rustic stone staircases, so Jake went ahead to make sure we would be able to navigate that with our luggage - and then carried it in for us. We liked our journey with Jake so much we were sad to part ways with him when we arrived. In fact, we tried to substitute Jake for future assigned drivers, but were unable to figure out how to do that in the Daytrip app. We were very grateful for his humor, insight and positive personality."

Sorry for the delayed response, things have been busy with vacation ending and returning home. I have been meaning to reach out and provide feedback about Hrvoje and the experience, because he was so nice and we loved the experience. He was easy-going, flexible, funny, informative, and generous with his time. We were really hungry and made a lunch stop, which he didn't rush at all, giving us time to enjoy it, which enhanced the day even more. He was also great and talking when we wanted to talk and letting us stare out at the scenery and take a break when we needed to just chill out. Rather than a lost day to travel we felt like it was an adventurous, interesting, and cultural experience. He provided us with a great memory. Thank you Hrvoje, we really appreciate it, and we really hope to see you again! When researching how to get from Hvar to Mostar, it was looking like a long bus that required walking to and from, or a lot of headaches with a rental car, so this was an amazing service that really helped us out.
