"We traveled from Sarajevo to Zagreb with Muamer as our driver. We added a 90-minute side trip to see the medieval castle in Jajce. This was easy to do on the Day Trip website. Muamer got us a table at a cafe right next to the river where we enjoyed Bosnian coffee before going up to the castle. Afterwards, he drove us to two viewing areas where we took amazing photos of the Pliva River and Falls and the tiny Turkish water mills. At each stop Muamer dropped us as close as possible to the entrance and then parked the car - then drove up close to pick us up again. This was so appreciated since one of us uses a cane when walking on the rustic uneven surfaces. His insights into Bosnian culture were really interesting and helpful. Our conversations in the car were entertaining as well as informative. His sense of humor and friendly manner made the trip easy and fun. Our history-major college student especially enjoyed this. Muamer made an outstanding restaurant suggestion for lunch after the side-trip where we enjoyed some delicious Bosnian food. Then in Zagreb he quickly found the apartment we rented and helped us with our luggage. Door-to-door, it was an enjoyable and memorable journey - thanks to Day Trip and Muamer."
