On our trip from Salzburg to Munich Ashot suggested we spend the three hour diversion we had booked on the Chiemsee on the Konigsee instead. That was a great suggestion. He took us to where we could take a boat ride on that beautiful lake that was much like a Norwegian fiord. Ashot also provided us with snacks and water if we wanted. All drivers were very courteous, punctual and took our bags to the check-in desks at our hotels.
He spoke quite adequate English and even though he is from Eastern Europe was familiar with the area they were driving us in. They all seemed to be good drivers who drove at an acceptable speed. "

"Now Marjut was our favourite Daytrip driver (she did three of the six transfers we booked). Her driving was excellent and she seemed to always go that one step further than what you expected. For example on our Salzburg - Hohenschwangau transfer we booked the stop off at Herrenchiemsee. She took us to the ferry, helped buy the tickets, gave us some history of the Palace and told us what to expect on our visit. She also suggested later in the transfer we make an unscheduled stop at Linderhof which was another great side trip. Lastly we booked with Daytrip to stop at Oberammergau on this transfer to visit the Christmas shop â she kindly tracked it down for us and led us there by asking the locals! She had a lot of snacks she kindly shared with us on each of the transfers and was a wonderful conversationalist â giving us history, geography, current affairs â we all really enjoyed her company!"
