Yes! Book a private, door-to-door airport transfer with a local English-speaking driver. Enjoy fixed and transparent pricing, no hidden fees, and the option to pay in advance without the hassle of exchanging cash at a foreign airport.
You will receive the vehicle that best fits the number of travelers in your group, ranging from a sedan to a van for groups of up to 7. Depending where you travel, you can book anything from a sedan comparable to a Toyota Corolla to a Mercedes V-Class to a Classic Cuban Car. While the exact model may vary, we always ensure that the vehicle provided meets your needs in terms of safety, reliability, and comfort. You may be upgraded to a larger vehicle class free of charge depending on availability. Since our largest vehicle seats 7, for groups larger a combination of vehicles will be used. We will send you the exact vehicle details a few days before your trip.
Everywhere except the USA, drivers will supply appropriate child seats (just let us know during booking). In the USA, certain states require you to supply your own child seats.
Know more about traveling from Zacatecas
Yes, and the city's location in north-central Mexico makes it a natural waypoint for travelers moving between major hubs. It sits within driving distance of cities including Aguascalientes, San Luis Potosí, Guadalajara, and León, making it practical to include as an en-route stop rather than a separate trip. With Daytrip, you can book a route that passes through Zacatecas with dedicated time to explore, then continues to your next destination — all in the same vehicle with the same driver. This approach works especially well for the historical center and El Edén, both of which can be experienced meaningfully within a focused stop, so you leave with a real sense of the city rather than a glimpse from a car window.
When you book a Daytrip transfer to or from Zacatecas, a professional local driver meets you at your pickup location — whether that's your hotel, a previous destination, or the airport — and takes you directly to where you need to go. There are no shared vehicles, no fixed departure times to chase, and no intermediary stops unless you want them. Along the way, you can request optional sightseeing stops at points of interest, turning a practical transfer into part of the experience itself. Everything is arranged before you travel, so on the day you simply show up and the logistics are handled.
Zacatecas sits at high altitude within a canyon, and its city center is built along steep, winding streets that are easier to navigate with a local driver than on your own. For travelers coming from cities like Guadalajara, Mexico City, or San Luis Potosí, covering the distance by private transfer means door-to-door service with no connection changes, no luggage management across multiple transit points, and flexibility to stop along the way. Families, couples, and anyone carrying more than a carry-on will find the comfort and predictability of a private vehicle a practical choice for this terrain and distance. It is particularly well-suited for travelers on a tighter schedule who need to make the most of time in the region.
Zacatecas built its identity on silver, and that heritage runs through everything from its architecture to its artisan economy. If time is short, the historical center is the anchor — the Cathedral, the surrounding plazas, and the concentration of colonial buildings can be covered on foot within a few hours. El Edén mine is worth prioritizing for anyone interested in the city's industrial story; the underground experience is unlike anything else in the region. The many galleries selling locally crafted silver jewelry are worth a browse, and the Centro Platero just outside the center adds context by showing the craft in practice. Zacatecas rewards a slower pace, but its compact layout means even a half-day visit can feel substantial.
Zacatecas is one of Mexico's most distinctive cities, built into a dramatic canyon and shaped by centuries of silver mining history. The colonial center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized for its extraordinary baroque architecture — most visibly the rose-colored Zacatecas Cathedral that crowns the hillside. Beyond the cathedral, the city is dense with monasteries, churches, and museums that reflect its former status as a major economic powerhouse. What sets it apart from other Mexican colonial cities is its layered identity: underground, you can walk through El Edén, a hand-dug mine that once fueled an empire; at street level, the narrow canyon-carved streets give the city an almost medieval atmosphere unlike anywhere else in the country. For travelers moving through the region, Zacatecas rewards even a few focused hours.
The Zacatecas area offers strong options for travelers who want to build stops into their journey. El Edén mine is the most dramatic — an active-history experience that takes you into the tunnels hand-dug beneath the city during the silver era. The Zacatecas Cathedral and the surrounding historical center make for a natural walking stop, with baroque architecture concentrated in a compact area. Just outside the city, the Centro Platero Zacatecano gives travelers a chance to watch silversmiths craft the locally made jewelry the region is known for. When booking your Daytrip, you can discuss available stops with your driver or select them during the booking process, shaping the journey around what matters to you.
2+ million travelers like you. Moments they'll never forget.
So, so happy I stumbled upon this website to book two private transports while visiting Lima, Peru. They were both one-way trips approximately 3 hours in length. Great communication as soon as everything was booked via email and I then downloaded their app. I had a few issues with the app and the customer service was awesome trying to assist me in getting it corrected. Honestly impressive customer service which gave you a positive feeling that you made the right choice. Both drivers were right on time - No issues whatsoever! Can't say enough about the service and ease of everything when travelling so far away. Great job to the daytrip team! Would strongly recommend.
