"The trip from Tirana to Ohrid was without incident, which was perfect. The driver was prompt and courteous, and he even offered to stop half-way for coffee. "This was my first-time using Daytrip, and it was an amazing experience. Our driver was named Naumce and he took us from Tirana, Albania, to Ohrid, North Macedonia. Naumce was on time picking us up, he helped us load our luggage, and he provided us each with a bottle of water (I am pretty sure at his expense). During our daytrip, we made two stops. Our first stop was at Petrele Castle and Naumce made the hike to the top with us. It was very nice having him with us because he was able to point things out to us and he took pictures of us at the top, but he was never pressuring on time and he gave my sister and I space when we wanted to wonder around. We also stopped at Elbasan, and at this stop he stayed with the vehicle to make sure our luggage stayed safe while we wondered old town. It was very re-assuring knowing we could look around town knowing our luggage was being looked after. Finally, we made the drive to Ohrid, where Naumce was from. During the drive her pointed things, out to us such as historical bunkers across the Albaian countryside, Lake Ohrid as we approached, airports, etc. Naumce handled all the communication and document verification crossing the border, which was very nice and stress free. When we arrived at Ohrid we had some address issues as to where we were going, but Naumce was very patient with us as we figured it out. He let us use his hotspot to call our Airbnb host, he even spoke to our host on the phone for us as he spoke Macedonian, and together they were able to figure out where we were going. When we arrived Naumce helped us unload our bags. Overall, Naumce is a very kind person, very laid back, and a wonderful driver. I highly recommend Daytrip for easy transit from city to city, and I highly recommend Naumce if you are traveling anywhere from or to Ohrid, North Macedonia. "

"I absolutely loved the trip, and the driver Elton V. was incredibly professional and thoughtful. You did a wonderful job reassuring me that a driver would be available for my trip (it was my first time using the service and I was a bit nervous). I got the email a couple days before the trip and updating the time very easily. Elton showed up early and was ready for me. He had a bottle of water available and was respectful and kind. I'm always extra cautious as a solo female traveler but I never felt unsafe at any point. The journey itself was smooth, and Elton went out of his way to make sure I could find the accommodation and get settled.
