He knew all the back streets of Barcelona and got us to our hotel in good time, safely. The car was very comfortable with lots of leg room. "Our trip from San Sebastián was also very good. Inigo, like Loetitia F was great - he was very knowledgeable about all things Spanish and was very happy to chat with us along the way. We learnt a lot about the Basque country and the geo-politics of Spain as the Catalan independence protests were topical at the time of our journey. We know Inigo was a little anxious about the possible uncertainties of our drive to Barcelona and was wanting to get us to Barcelona safely. The Catalan protestors blocked the A2 into Barcelona and delayed us by approximately one hour. But, Inigo was calm and patient and good humoured. He also very kindly communicated with the owner of the apartment we had booked in Barcelona as we had to speak with him a couple of times because of the uncertainty about our arrival time. We appreciated this very much. Inigo would be suited to drive all sorts of travellers - a lovely and helpful young man with a good sense of humour! As two women travellers, we felt very safe in his company. He is very good representative of his country. So... it was another Daytrip experience which reinforced our willingness to recommend Daytrip to other travellers. In fact, we have already done this! We will certainly look to use Daytrip when we visit Europe again. "

"I am happy to receive your request for my evaluation because my wife and I enjoyed our Daytrip with Pere very much. While the ability to see the countryside as we travel was enjoyable, it was Pere who made the experience memorable. He is the most pleasant, knowledgeable and cooperative of guides/drivers. When we signed up for the drive, Daytrip offered a number of side excursions. Without doing much study we picked one when we signed up. Upon doing more study just before leaving on the trip, we decided that our selection did not really interest us and we asked Pere to take us directly to Barcelona. Pere suggested that we might like to stop at Montserrat instead. Montserrat had not been offered initially by the company but we were excited to see Montserrat. We enjoyed our visit to Montserrat greatly and thank Pere for that suggestion. Even if he had not provided us that wonderful side trip and memorable addition to our vacation, we would think just as highly of Pere. He is delightful and interesting. He is a star and you should be proud to have him represent your company. The trip from San Sebastian to Barcelona was actually our third trip with Daytrip. Earlier we had traveled with our friends Mr. and Mrs. Michael Ecker from Lisbon to Porto and then from Porto to San Sebastian. Those two trips were just as enjoyable and both drivers were pleasant, professional and helpful. Zaragoza is one of the birthplaces of the Mudejar style, with landmarks like the Aljafería Palace, while the medieval Poblet Monastery was a royal residence and pantheon for the Kings of Aragon. Both are UNESCO World Heritage Sites!

The distance between San Sebastian and Barcelona isn't too far, so the train journey only takes about six hours to complete. Of course, this is also thanks to the train being a high-speed train. In addition, the trip doesn't feel as far or like much distance has been crossed because there are no stops along the way.
