The cancellation policy may vary depending on your trip. The cancellation conditions available for your booking will always be shown before confirming your trip. Depending on eligibility, Daytrip offers different cancellation options:
Non-refundable: If your trip is canceled after confirmation, the amount paid will not be refunded.
Standard: If your trip is canceled at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time, the amount paid will be refunded in full. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure are not eligible for a refund.
Flexible: If your trip is canceled at least 1 hour before the scheduled departure time, the amount paid will be refunded in full. Cancellations made less than 1 hour before departure are not eligible for a refund.
Trips booked less than 24 hours before departure may not be eligible for free cancellation unless stated otherwise during the booking process.

You will receive the vehicle that best fits the number of travelers in your group, ranging from a sedan to a van for groups of up to 7. Depending where you travel, you can book anything from a sedan comparable to a Toyota Corolla to a Mercedes V-Class to a Classic Cuban Car. While the exact model may vary, we always ensure that the vehicle provided meets your needs in terms of safety, reliability, and comfort. You may be upgraded to a larger vehicle class free of charge depending on availability. Since our largest vehicle seats 7, for groups larger a combination of vehicles will be used. We will send you the exact vehicle details a few days before your trip.
Everywhere except the USA, drivers will supply appropriate child seats (just let us know during booking). In the USA, certain states require you to supply your own child seats.
Yes. Puerto Iguazu sits right next to Parque Nacional IguazĂș, close enough that a single well-planned day covers the falls without needing a hotel in town. Most travelers arrive in the morning, move between the circuits and Devil's Throat over several hours, and are back at their starting point by evening. It's the park's proximity to Puerto Iguazu that makes this workable as a same-day visit rather than a multi-day trip.
Plan for at least half a day, ideally 4 to 6 hours, inside Parque Nacional IguazĂș. The park is split into the Upper Circuit, Lower Circuit, and the Garganta del Diablo train and walkway, and each offers a different vantage point on the falls. Rushing through in an hour or two means missing most of it. A private transfer gets you to the park early and picks you up on your schedule, so you're not boxed in by a group tour timetable.
The falls deserve most of your day, but Hito Tres Fronteras, the landmark where Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay meet along the Iguazu and Parana rivers, sits just minutes from Puerto Iguazu and only takes a short stop to see. Beyond that, most travelers keep the day centered on the park itself, since the falls alone fill the hours. If you want the tri-border viewpoint too, it pairs easily as a quick add-on before or after your falls visit.
The path is flat and paved, running along a series of catwalks over the river, but it does involve sustained walking and standing in humidity and spray near the falls. Comfortable closed-toe shoes, light clothing, and a way to keep your phone or camera dry are worth packing. There's no strenuous climbing, so the walk suits most fitness levels and ages.
Start with Garganta del Diablo first thing in the morning, when the boardwalk is coolest and least crowded, since it requires a short train ride to reach. From there, tackle the Lower Circuit for close-up views and mist from below, then the Upper Circuit for wide, elevated views across the whole falls system. Doing them in this order keeps walking distances manageable and avoids backtracking across the park.
The Argentine side puts you inside the falls, not just in front of them. Walkways and catwalks lead directly over the rapids, culminating at Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat), where you stand right above the thundering main cascade. The Brazilian side is known for its sweeping panoramic views across the canyon, while Parque Nacional IguazĂș on the Argentine side is built for an up-close, immersive walk through the falls themselves. Many travelers do both, but if you only have one day, the Argentine park delivers the more hands-on experience.

So, so happy I stumbled upon this website to book two private transports while visiting Lima, Peru. They were both one-way trips approximately 3 hours in length.
