Our daytrip from Merida to Lisbon was wonderful! It was so convenient, and good value for money.
Ruben was an excellent driver, I cannot fault him in any way. He was early arriving at our hotel in the morning, very professional and courteous. He gave us interesting local knowledge and took us to all the sights we had asked for. He answered all of our silly tourist questions and really helped us to understand his city and country.
On arrival in Lisbon he took us into our hotel and checked that all was well before leaving. He was particularly courteous to my elderly mother who is travelling with us.
We enjoyed the trip so much that we booked again with daytrip and much of this was due to our experience with Ruben.

Ivo was brilliant. Our day with him was one of the highlights of our month in Spain and Portugal. He was friendly, informative, spoke excellent English (which is a plus as we are from Australia and do not have proficiency in a lot of European languages) and very knowledgeable. We saw places we would never have known about and had a really nice lunch enhanced by Ivo’s local knowledge.
We travelled by train and bus on other occasions but chose daytrip because it wasn’t easy to travel from Merida to Lisbon using conventional transport. We not only heard about the places we visited on the day, but learnt a lot about Portugal including its history and current society.
We think your business model is really good. All the best for the future, and we may well use your service again in Europe.
