Transfer from Belgrade to Budapest

We recently used Daytrip for transportation to Budapest from Belgrade. The whole process to set up and pay was very easy and they were quick to communicate back to me when I had questions. Our driver , Veliko, was excellent and I highly recommend him. He was a very safe driver, his car was in great condition and very clean. It was roomy and accommodated 3 adults and all of our bags. I found Veljko to be friendly, courteous and spoke perfect english. I would highly recommend Daytrip.

Great Way to Travel Between Cities

I booked a trip with Daytrip from Belgrade to Budapest. My driver, Peter S., showed up a few minutes earlier than the 9am starting time I had booked. He was great, smart, fun, interesting, knowledgeable and his English is perfect. The drive from Belgrade to Budapest just flew by - it was like a nice roadtrip with a friend. When we got to Budapest he emailed me an excellent list of his own recommendations for things to do in town - based on what were obviously my interests that he learned about during our conversation on the drive. I would have missed out on far too much if I had taken the plane. I wish I had more time to book Peter S. for other trips around the region. When I return, I will.

Definitely the way to do it

We were looking at going from Belgrade to Budapest, and return Budapest to Belgrade , all in 6 days. We didn’t like the train connections , and the flights between the two cities are not encouraging. And we have quite a bit of luggage , traveling around for a month. So we found DayTrip thru TripAdvisor and google. We were a bit skeptical and worried about the legitimacy and the driver , safety etc. The reviews are positive and we decided to go for it. Booking and payment online is easy and the communication is prompt and quick , and reassuring. DayTrip emailed us with driver details before departure. We got Robert as our driver. Robert is a safe driver, speaks good English, and great knowledge of Hungary and Serbia . We are so happy and satisfied with Robert we asked for him on our return trip!! The border crossing between Serbia and Hungary is usually long and arduous ( through no fault of DayTrip or driver) - inefficient bureaucracy is one description. Imagine waiting almost three hours to clear less than 15 cars for processing of tax free / duty free on purchased goods. We felt bad for Robert - the long delay meant he could miss out on the next day’s drive. If you are looking for hassle free door to door transfer within Europe, we highly recommend DayTrip.

Best Traveler Discovery in years

Using Daytrip and especially our driver Csaba was the best travel option in years. We were traveling in Eastern Europe/Balkans and I was having a difficult time trying to coordinate travel routes due to a lack of convenient air and rail service ( and I'm not a big fan of buses). I read reviews and decided to just try Daytrip. Our experience was excellent. From the booking process, to confirmation, reminders and finally the driver pick up. It could not have gone easier or smoother. We were staying in an obscure Airbnb in Budapest, not on a main road so I was concerned how the driver would actually find us. But we followed their instructions and he was there with a big smile on his face, ready to help us get loaded. We drove to Belgrade and all along the way Csaba was a wealth of knowledge when we wanted to talk and quiet and sensitive when we just wanted to doze off. He constantly checked in to make sure we liked music and temperature controls, not to mention asking us if we were comfortable with the driving speed. A huge bonus was how efficient and fast we got to our destination. If we were to take rail or air, our travel time would have been significantly longer simply front the requirements of getting to and from stations, plus the extra time you have to arrive. We will always look for Daytrip from now on for travel and see if it is available.

Belgrade to Budapest the easy way

Our driver Szabi arrived at the pick up point right on time. He spoke fantastic English, drove very well and we had a very enjoyable trip to Budapest. We enjoyed our visit to Novi Sad and Subotica along the way, and Szabi recommended a fantastic local restaurant for lunch which really added to the enjoyment of the day.

Budapest to Belgrade - a breeze w/ Daytrip

Our driver, Peter S. picked us up on time with a clean car, excellent English skills and a good sense of humor. He took the backroads to avoid the long delays at the freeway boarder crossing saving hours, and he shared local knowledge along the way. I highly recommend Daytrip and Peter S.
