Folkestone Marine Park
Amazed by the variety of entertainment options at this park, visitors often wonder what doesn't this site offer when it comes to marine activities
About
Folkestone Marine Park is located in Holetown in St. James Parish. The most exciting activity the site offers is a diving experience to explore a real shipwreck that took place nearby in the 1980s. The park’s reef offers snorkelers a chance to admire an incredible variety of marine life closer to the shore. Those interested in other water activities can try their hand at kayaking and paddleboarding. The park's museum provides a comprehensive insight into marine life and features an aquarium filled with various species and a dedicated photography exhibition. For the little ones, a well-maintained playground awaits. Visitors can also browse the souvenir shop, stroll along the boardwalk, play a game of tennis or basketball, or simply relax on the picnic benches. While there's no entrance fee for the park, there is a small charge for the museum entry. The site is open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
