But it was a full day of travelling between Trieste and Split, and we really appreciated letting Pavle do the driving, so we could enjoy the amazing scenery.

Luca was at the train station early and waiting for us when we got in, so cordial helping with bags and getting us to the car in the rain and got us to our destination with no issues at all. He encouraged us to still make our stop at Plitvice Lakes even though it was raining and we are grateful he did because it was an amazing experience. I think some drivers would have said it wasn’t a good day to go but Luca knew this was a once a lifetime opportunity and was all for it for us.
