Unfortunately, there is no room for improvement J You, or to be precise, Dimitar exceeded my expectations by far. To start with, he was actually there with a sign bearing my name when I came out at the airport, no chance to be overlooked – I have tried this uncounted times all over the world, but actually, the drivers always needed follow up chasing/finding by ‘phone – not so Dimitar! A first in my experience.
He was a considerate driver, fluent in many languages, intelligent and insightful conversation on the way (in fact we got our first lesson – asked for! – in Bulgarian history and politics on the drive, preparing us for our stay, and putting things we saw and heard thereafter into place), gave us info and advice for our sightseeing, helped me patiently in my attempts to get to grips with Cyrillic writing, carried our suitcases up to our apartment, and was punctual at the dot at arriving place. He even helped afterwards on the ‘phone with taxi driver problems in Sofia. Fabulous!!! Dimitar is definitely 5*.

"Ivaylo P. transported us from Sofia to Plovdiv, Bulgaria. The trip was was much shorter in comparison to our first experience but we found Ivaylo to be as charming, polite and personable as our first driver. He was a wealth of information about Bulgaria and where we were going and offered us wonderful suggestions. The time went quickly and we were back on our vacation adventure.
Also, we were pleasantly surprised to see Ivaylo P. picking us up in Burgas, Bulgaria to take us to Istanbul, Turkey. It was such a comfortable feeling actually knowing our driver and having already built some trust and rapport with each other. He had unprecedented knowledge of Istanbul having worked as a tour guide previously in Istanbul and again we got a wealth of ideas and important tips about our upcoming stay there. He was extremely helpful getting us through the Turkish border patrol when we were unknowingly stopped for VISAs we didn’t have. What could have been a bad experience for us, he handled very calmly and was able to translate/explain to us what the border guards were demanding from us in order to secure passage into Turkey. He was also kind enough to help us navigate and enjoy a traditional Turkish lunch en route. Another memorable moment and day spent with another driver from Daytrip. "
