"We were only in Puno Peru for a day we looked around for a day for. We needed to take our luggage with us and really wanted to be picked up from our hotel on lake Titicaca and does off at the Juliaca Airport. We reached out to Hugo M. Through mydaytrip.com we explained our needs. He replied back to us the next morning and he could accommodate all our needs. At the price advertised on the trip we were inquiring about.
Hugo picked us up on time had plenty of room for our luggage. I requested a few stops, 1 to a local market to purchase a new piece of luggage an also to stop at an ATM. He was ready to go anywhere we needed.
After those stops we were chatting and he asked if we would rather do the floating islands route instead of one of the others on our itinerary. My husband was thrilled, that was the ONE thing he really wanted to see there. We didn't think we were doing to be able to have the time for it . None of the other toys there were in our time range. We said yes, Hugo called the boat captain right away and he was waiting at the docks as soon as we parked. The sun came out, the boat was just for us. The boat ride and personal tour onto 2 islands. Meeting the indigenous people, seeing how the live and walking around their island was very pleasant. Everyone was so very nice. We made another stop to the highest cemetery in the world on a lake with Inca and pre Inca Tombs. This was a very beautiful picturesque place.
We never felt rushed. Hugo was personable and informative the whole time. We enjoyed his company. We were not stressed at all getting to the airport on time. I would book another tour with Hugo M again in a heartbeat if we come back to spend more time in Puno :)
The Chang in our tour did change the cost that was to be expected and we felt it was very much worth it. "
