With its clean water and silky white sand, Las Cabanas Beach is a popular place to relax in the sun. A string of beach bars offer some creature comforts, serving drinks, food, and beach chairs. Because the beach faces West, seeing the sunset here is its own experience, with many flocking to see the colorful sky above the jagged silhouettes of nearby islands. Thrill-seekers are also offered a unique experience here - a zip-line runs from the hill above the beach to the small Depeldet Island just off shore. While you get some stupendous views on the way down, you have to work for it - it’s a steep hike up to the top of the hill.
