The main entrance, a magnificent gateway with wooden doors, leads visitors through a corridor surrounded by bastions, showcasing strategic locations for cannons. Paranda Fort's inner sanctum unveils a fascinating world of architecture and history. The fort houses a temple dedicated to Lord Mankeshwar, with evidence of its original identity as a mosque. The complex features well-constructed porches, each adorned with cannons shaped like crocodiles, flower petals, and more. The largest cannon, known as 'Malik-e-Maidan,' crowns the top of the main entrance. As you explore the fort's 26 bastions, including Buruj Mahakal, Mahakal Buruj, Chanchal Buruj, and others, you'll encounter ancient guns and relics, each with its own historical significance.
