Constructed in 1608 using material from a nearby monastery belonging to the Christian Orthodox Church, the Sinan Pasha Mosque is a beautiful example of Ottoman rule in Europe. Centuries after its construction, and the expulsion of the Ottomans, the mosque with its gorgeous colonnaded facade and impressive dome, complimented by a tall minaret, might just be the most beautiful building in Prizren. The structure's stunning facade is matched by its striking interior, filled with mosaics and geometric patterns.
