Nature Park Mokra Gora
Breathtaking views of the Serbian wilderness, a unique, traditional village, and small-gauge steam train.
About
Nestled on the face of Zlatibor Mountain, Mokra Gora Nature Park covers 111 square kilometers, and lets visitors escape into nature, or a time long past. After soaking in the stunning view, visitors can immerse themselves in Drvengrad, a recreation of a traditional village made by Serbian film director Emir Kusturica for his film Life Is a Miracle. To complete the experience, don’t miss the Šargan Eight, a narrow-gauge train that was faithfully reconstructed by the Serbian Ministry of Tourism, Serbian railways and Emir Kusturica, from the remains of a line that operated between Sarajevo and Belgrade until 1974.
