These off-the-beaten-track falls offer a relaxing alternative to the big-name cascades.
For a long time, Nagkalit-Kalit Falls were a local secret, with only a handful of outsiders getting a word-of-mouth recommendation. At around 10 meters tall, this pair of waterfalls aren’t the largest or most impressive waterfalls in the Philippines, but they are much less crowded than the well-known ones. To reach them, you’ll first have to hike through the jungle for about 30 minutes, and traverse a few streams. Once you reach Nagkalit-Kalit Falls, the cool waters of the pool offer a welcome respite from the heat.
