Lata Bayu is among the largest series of waterfalls in the state of Kedah. Its mutli-level waterfalls are fed by the uphill streams in the forest and create pools for wading and swimming. It is one of the more maintained waterfall parks in the region, complete with paved and natural walkways, pavilions, benches, restrooms, and places to picnic. Take a dip in the cool water on a hot day, or explore the surrounding forest on walking trails. It is best to attend on weekdays, as weekends and holidays bring crowds of families. It opens at sunrise and closes at sunset. Please note that the stones around the falls can be slippery, so hold the hands of young children and be aware of your footing.
