The Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum is an extraordinary spiritual sanctuary promising cultural exploration, spiritual reflection, and an awe-inspiring journey through religious history. At the heart of this museum is the Fo Guang Big Buddha, a monumental bronze statue soaring 108 meters into the sky, making it the tallest seated Buddha statue in Asia. Inside, you’ll also find the tooth of the Buddha, a symbol of compassion and wisdom. The museum also features the Three Acts of Goodness Children's Gallery, the Cultural Square at the Four Givings Pagoda, the House of Joy and Celebration at the Five Harmonies Pagoda, and more. During special times like the Lunar New Year and the Lantern Festival, the museum comes to life with vibrant lantern displays, creating a festive atmosphere. The complex also houses restaurants, bakeries, and boutique shops for visitors to enjoy. The museum is open 9AM to 6PM every day except Tuesdays, and admission is free.
