Debengeni Falls tumble 80 meters over raw rock into a cool pool of water. Surrounding the falls, a network of trails bring visitors into the verdant forest. Here, you can spot over 40 different varieties of indigenous trees, which are home to a variety of birds. Birdwatchers flock here in hopes of spotting a half-collared kingfisher, blue-mantled crested flycatcher, or one of the many other avian inhabitants. Once you’ve built up an appetite, the well-maintained grounds provide a pleasant place for a picnic - you can even have a braai (BBQ)! Please note: the rocks are very slippery and there are no lifeguards.
